LAKE HIGHLANDS OKTOBERFEST 2017

Welcome to the premier Oktoberfest in Dallas. This family friendly event brings thousands of people across Dallas - Fort Worth for the good food, good beer and good times. This year's annual event, to be held September 30th at Flag Pole Hill, just north of White Rock Lake, will feature some of the best local bands, plenty of fun for the kids, and delicious restaurant offerings from brats to ice cream.

NEW BITES + BREWS

Come out and enjoy some of the best bites and brews Dallas has to offer. We'll have everything from Brats to Pizza and Hefeweizen to Kolsch. Our goal is to have something for everyone of any age.

NEW MUSIC

This year's lineup is beyond exciting. We have scheduled everything under the sun and into the evening. Headlining this year's event is Bowling for Soup, preceded by Rhymin' N Stealin, The O's and Calhoun.

New LOCATION

Take note that we've moved to Flag Pole Hill north of White Rock Lake. This is one of the best natural concert areas in all of Dallas. There is plenty of green space to spread out and soak up the fun and suds.

KUBY's SAUSAGE HOUSE
& EUROPEAN MARKET

"Fans of “authentic German food” need “look no further” than this University Park eatery for “huge” sandwiches, “excellent” potato salad and “top-notch” homemade sausages among other Bavarian essen served for breakfast and lunch daily and for dinner on Friday and Saturday; the no-frills dining room is adjacent to an “awesome” meat market/deli.

Urban Crust Pizza

Pizza is the star, and that’s evident by the dome-shaped Renato oven that occupies a prominent spot in the dining room. Burning both gas and wood, it turns out pizzas with reliably crisp, brown-edged crusts. Great toppings, too. One memorably delicious pie had sirloin steak, caramelized onions, Maytag blue cheese, and basil pesto.

Food Vendor - One 90 Smoked Meats

ONE 90 Smoked MeatS

Guerra's meats come out of the fire with extreme precision and care — the establishment's name is the owners' idea of the perfect internal temperature for a well-smoked brisket. At the counter, traditional barbecue plates butt up against some of the most refreshing and tasty takes on the barbecue sandwich. If you're into wrapper cheese — the ooey, gooey cheese that melts off of the sandwich and onto the wrapper — One90's barbecue sandwiches are dialed in just right.
